GA EPPC is currently undergoing a transition to the Georgia Invasive Species Council (GISC), to encompass all taxa. Please bear with us while we re-organize the council, board members, and website.

Georgia Invasive Species Council

The purpose of the GISC is to focus attention on:

the adverse effects invasive species have on the diversity of Georgia’s native plants and wildlife;

the use of invasive species management to prevent habitat loss;

the socioeconomic impacts of these invasive species;

changes in the seriousness of the different invasive species over time

the need to exchange information which helps land owners and managers set priorities for invasive species management.
